Abbott and ZoBio have reached an agreement whereby ZoBio will supply a variety of biophysics research services to Abbott in the area of hit matter discovery and characterization. Amongst the services to be provided, ZoBio will use its proprietary TINS technology for ligand discovery on a variety of targets designated by Abbott. Orthogonal validation will be provided through ZoBio’s Biacore instrumentation. This combination of technologies is unique in the field and is part of what attracted Abbott to ZoBio.

ZoBio is proud that Abbott, the commercial founder of Fragment-Based Drug Discovery (Shuker et al., Science, 1996, p. 1531), has selected ZoBio to provide CRO services. We feel that this is an important recognition of the quality and innovative nature of the research services we offer.
